Carol Gaab:
A seasoned presenter, Carol Gaab has been presenting TPRS workshops and in-services for national and international schools and universities since 1996. Carol also presents for the Bureau of Education and Research and is known for powerful presentations that are highly engaging and practical. In addition to teacher training, Carol has 16 years experience teaching Spanish and has been an ESL teacher for various major league baseball clubs since 1990. Her clients have included the SF Giants, Oakland A’s, CO Rockies, AZ Diamondbacks and Milwaukee Brewers. Carol has written and published a wide variety of TPRS training materials and curricula for elementary through high school students. She also serves as a TPRS consultant/editor for various textbook publishers.
Linda Li:
Linda Li was born and raised in Shanghai, China. She is a gifted trainer and master teacher and was honored with the “Excellence of Teaching” award from Yew Chung Shanghai International School. In addition to teaching Chinese, Linda presents TPRS® workshops throughout China and Southeast Asia. Since 2005, she has been an integral part of a TPRS research project at Middle Tennessee State University Summer Language Institute. Linda has been presenting at the National TPRS Conference and teaching Chinese for Fluency Fast since 2006. She is the co-author of “I Love Learning Chinese” (Books 1, 2 and 3), TPRS curricula for middle school and high school Chinese students. She is also currently co-writing Beginning Mandarin Readers with Dr. Stephen Krashen.
Scott Benedict:
Scott is an exceptionally well-rounded Spanish instructor and TPRS® trainer. He has been teaching with TPRS for the past eight years and is the founder of moreTPRS.net, a community forum designed to assist teachers in developing and improving their TPRS skills. In addition to basic TPRS training, Scott provides specialized training in Proficiency-based Grading. He runs his own web-hosting company and spends a great deal of time showing teachers how to unleash the power of technology in the language classroom. Scott currently teaches at Veterans Tribute Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas.
