TPRS® Workshop
- This is one- to three-day workshop detailing the extremely successful TPRS® (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) teaching method invented by Blaine Ray. TPRS® is a student-centered method of acquiring a second language that builds vocabulary and structures of a language through increased comprehensible input while decreasing a student’s apprehension and stress of learning a second language. This method applies the principles of second-language acquisition and is being used not only throughout the United States, but around the world.

Power Grading™
- This one- or two-day workshop introduces a standards-based approach to grading in today’s world-language classroom. Based on students’ proficiency levels and the main content standards in foreign languages, this approach to grading attempts to pair more accurately a student’s abilities in the language with a tangible grade required by most schools and universities. This grading method also increases student learning and achievement by more precisely pinpointing in which skills a student excels and where they may need some improvement.
